Violations Cases Against Media In Yemen In March 2023
The Media Freedoms Observatory in Yemen released its monthly report “Infographic” on the status of media freedoms and the arbitrary practices against journalists and media outlets.
During March, the Observatory recorded 3 cases of violation, which varied between 2 cases of threats, and the breaking into the headquarters of the Yemeni Journalists’ Syndicate in Aden.
Those violations were committed in Taiz, two cases, and one case in Aden.
The report pointed out the parties committed such violations, as the Yemeni government committed two 2 cases, while one case committed by unknown entities.
The Media Freedoms Observatory in Yemen is a monitoring and information platform aimed at disseminating all matters relating to freedom of expression in various governorates of Yemen in a professional and independent manner, as well as analyzing and advocating for journalists’ issues at the local and international levels.
