Violations Cases Against Media in Yemen In Nov 2022

The Media Freedoms Observatory in Yemen released its monthly report “Infographic” on the status of media freedoms and the arbitrary practices against journalists and media outlets.

During November, the Observatory recorded three (3) cases of violations in
Sana ‘a, Aden and Lahj governorates.

Those violations varied between two (2) threatening cases and one case of interrogation of a journalist.

The report pointed out the parties committed such violations, are the Houthi group committed, the Yemeni government, and unknown entities.

The Media Freedoms Observatory in Yemen is a monitoring and information platform aimed at disseminating all matters relating to freedom of expression in various governorates of Yemen in a professional and independent manner, as well as analyzing and advocating for journalists’ issues at the local and international levels.
