Violations Cases Against Media in Yemen In Nov 2021

MFO in Yemen posted the monthly report “infographic” about the media freedom situation and what the journalists and media outlets face of abusive practices.

Last November, MFO recorded 9 violation cases ranging from one case of injury to 4 cases of murder, one case of attack, 3 case of arrest, one detention and other case of interrogated. The violations committed in Ma’reb of 2 cases, 2 cases in Taiz, 3 in Aden and 2 in Lahj.

Also, the report pointed at the parties who committed the violations against journalists, which Southern Transitional Council (STC), in a number 3 cases, the Yemeni Government in 2 cases, followed by Tariq Saleh’s forces in one case, the other by Houthi group, and 2 violation cases recorded against anonymous.
